The Story
Benji (with also his clever computer whispering skills), has been trying to build an Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistant to help them organise their lives (e.g. booking appointments, replying to administrative emails).
Unfortunately, the AI has gotten a bit too clever and is now trying to take over their lives (messaging all their friends for them, booking appointments they don’t need, ordering things etc etc.)!
Fortunately, Benji (being a wise guy) has created a platform to safeguard their (online) lives. But in order to activate the website and stop the evil AI you need to prove you are a human who knows Benji and Christine. Benji and Christine have left you clues along their wedding which you will need to defeat the AI in what is probably the world’s most complicated reCAPTCHA.

We'd love to see you throughout the whole day, not just you solving the puzzle. The only exception is during the ceremony itself, which will be fully covered by our pro photographer Tom.
We won't publish the photos on the internet, it's just for our enjoyment and possible printing (of the good ones!) None of the other guests will be able to see, unless we share it with them after.
FAQs
Can I do the puzzle in a team?
Yes! There's no rules really 😅 You can do it by yourself, or in a group. Maybe try to keep the group size to 4 or less (split up if you have more!) but you can do what you like.
What if I miss a puzzle or secret QR code?
If you've missed it, you've missed it! Do check the map as you go along, to make sure you complete all the puzzles, and watch out for the one that's out and about!
What do I do if the website is broken?
Hopefully this will work perfectly during the day, but if not then have a chat with Sam Williams, who will be wearing a bright yellow tie. There's a limit to how much he'll be able to fix by himself, so do be understanding. But he might be able to help you out!
Does this site use cookies?
This website only uses essential cookies, just to keep you logged in. There's no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
Why did I need to make an account?
We store your progress through the puzzle hunt in your account, saving it throughout the day. You can switch to another teammate's phone and use the same account!
What happens to my data?
It will be stored until we take it all apart in a few months time. If you want your data deleted before then, please just reach out to Benji or Christine!
How did you build it?
Christine and Benji wrote the puzzles together, and Christine drew the artwork. Benji built this website Next.JS and hosted it on AWS Amplify. His review is "Fiddly, but very extensible. Maybe use Supabase next time". To Benji's computer programmer/hacker friends: We're trying to host this in the AWS free tier, so please be nice and don't DDoS us 😂
